How to make an invoice
A proper invoice says who it is from and to, its number and date, what it is for and how to pay. This one becomes an A4 PDF, ready to email or print.
- Fill in your business and your customer’s details, with the invoice number and date.
- Add what it is for, with prices, and a PayNow QR code for the total if you like.
- Download the PDF and send it. For a quotation, choose Quotation at the top.

About invoices and quotations
What should an invoice in Singapore show?
Your business name and address, your customer’s, an invoice number, the date, what you sold with the amounts, and the total. If you are registered for a tax, add its rate: the tool works it out for you.
Is my information kept anywhere?
Only in your own browser, if you tick “Remember my business details”. Nothing is sent to us, and your customers’ details are never kept.
Can customers pay with PayNow?
Yes. Tick the PayNow box and add your UEN or mobile number: the PDF gets a QR code for the exact total, which your customer scans in their banking app.
Can I write it in Chinese?
Yes. A PDF with Chinese words is saved as a sharp picture of each page, so it looks right on every computer.
Does it cost anything?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no limit: make as many invoices and quotations as you need.
